HGB artists Len Bay, Hyerin Eom and Anna Raczynska are among the finalists for this year’s Young Art Prize organised by the Krupa Art Foundation. Congratulations! Len Bay graduated from the HGB in 2025 from Prof. Joachim Blank’s class in Installation and Space. Hyerin Eom is studying in the Expanded Cinema class under Prof. Clemens von Wedemeyer and is the winner of the 2025/26 Student Prize awarded by the Friends of the HGB and Sparkasse Leipzig. Anna Raczyńska completed her Master’s programme at the HGB Leipzig and is currently working as an artistic assistant in the Media Art Department.

Following an assessment of the numerous submissions, the jury has selected 32 projects to be presented as part of the KAF Young Art Prize final exhibition. Three prize-winners will be announced at the exhibition opening, each receiving prize money of 12,000 euros.

The KAF Young Prize is an international competition for emerging artists from across Europe. Following the success of the first edition, which attracted over 1,600 entries, the competition has been expanded and now encompasses a broader spectrum of artistic practices. For the 2026 edition, artists were invited to apply in three categories: painting, digital art, and sculpture and installation.
