As part of the festival "Danger zones - racism (in)secures"

The methods of Augusto Boal's Theater of the Oppressed combine art and physical self-awareness with political trial action. Through the exercises, experiences of discrimination, but also of experiencing the world from a privileged perspective are physically re-experienced. In the process, experiences can be reflected upon and, at the same time, new ways of acting can be developed and tried out. This approach offers many possibilities for activating social and communicative resources that are often suppressed or neglected in everyday life in the playful, aesthetic and theatrical encounter of people. In this workshop, appropriate methods will be learned and tested.

The workshop is open to all. Special needs or limitations can be accommodated. We ask for prior notification.
