The exhibition project "Nee die Ideen - zu Ehren des Bleistifts" is about artistic positions in hand drawing. This ranges from gestural and abstract to figurative and ornamental-conceptual positions.
Especially in times when artificial intelligence is declared to be the producer of art, it seems increasingly important to reflect on handwriting.
Drawing has to do with making and leaving marks; it is the most spontaneous and least elaborate medium of artistic individuality.
As a form of reflection on paper, drawing is a reflection of both the outside and the inside world. This explains the diversity of the positions presented.
