Parallel to the Rundgang, the HGB Freundekreis and Sparkasse Leipzig 2021/22 Study Prize will be awarded and the exhibition of the prize winners will open in the HGB Gallery.

The Freundeskreis Leipzig Academy of Fine Arts and Sparkasse Leipzig have announced the HGB Study Prize 2021 for the 15th time in a row. From 55 submissions, the jury selected four works this year, one for each subject area. In addition, the jury awarded a publication project with a recognition prize. The projects will be presented in the Study Award exhibition parallel to the HGB Tour starting February 10, 2022 in the HGB Gallery.

The 2021/22 award winners are:

Media art: Lydia Marx
