How can cultural practice become public when financial resources disappear and institutional frameworks start to erode? How can artistic and curatorial practices claim space and sustain their agency? How can publics not only be demanded but actively created - as an act, a gesture, a temporary structure? What forms of showing, listening, presence, and action remain possible beyond established spaces and temporalities?
no solid ground is a testing ground as intervention, a temporarily marked site in the urban space of Berlin that disrupts habitual uses and explores artistic spaces of action. It is an invitation to states of in-between, to a productive engagement with the uncertain, the invisible, the unpaid - the uncertain future of art and culture.
