I didn’t choose my desire. I’m relentlessly at its mercy. It emerges from within me and is only released at the hands of another. Someone who follows my invitation to get close to me. It’s not
only up to me who this may be. But I’m open to it – open for the agony and fear of rejection and imbalance that could lead to true connection.

For my exhibition „hand job“, let desire and rejection collide. Rubbing against each other, leaving traces on each other and possibly forming a third instance outside of one another. At the border of an image being more than just that and a body being nothing else but an image in a space, I assume my position. The surfaces are not as flat and meaningless as we think. They are in fact the gateway to that third instance, that true fusion.
