Ceremonial farewell of the Meisterschüler*innen, awarding of the Meisterschüler*innen Prize of the G2 Kunsthalle and opening
At the beginning of the academic year, the exhibition traditionally brings together works from all disciplines by graduates of the Meisterschüler*innen program (postgraduate studies for artists) who successfully passed their exams in the winter and summer semesters. The works are the result of the two-year postgraduate course at the HGB, which deepens and expands artistic-practical and artistic-scientific skills. The Meisterschüler*innen Award of the G2 Kunsthalle will be presented to a graduate for the fourth time this year. The prize is endowed with 10,000 € and a free studio space for 12 months.
The exhibition with about 20 artistic positions will be organized by Ilse Lafe and Stephen Stahn (HGB gallery).
