Anti-fascist jam session with Luca Diebold & dialogue assembly with Anna Zett
In an anti-fascist choir workshop with Véra Marie Deubner, individual voices actively gather to sing together. In the subsequent jam session (hosted by Luca Diebold) in the Lichthof and the interwoven dialogue-based assembly practice (hosted by Anna Zett, co-director of the Performative Arts class), the focus is on mutual listening as an artistic and political force. The bi-weekly participatory teaching programme "Public in Person: Assembly" opens up into a new form.

Anti-fascist choir workshop
What does a time in which authoritarian and fascist tendencies are becoming increasingly present sound like? This open choir workshop sees the voice as a collective tool: for listening, breathing, remembering, speaking out and coming together. Together we will explore how a choral space can be created that does not rely on perfection or previous musical experience, but on presence, resonance and mutual attention, working with voice, sound, text, rhythm and simple collective exercises.
Véra Marie Deubner (Leipzig) works artistically with voice, socio-politics and group dynamics.
Together as a group we will open the Antifascist Jam Session + Dialogical Assembly in the Lichthof at 18:30.
Jam Session
As an open stage, the jam session offers the opportunity to come together in a playful, listening and mutually supportive way and to give your own feelings, thoughts and inspirations a sonic space - whether with instrument or voice. Together we want to create a place for collective expression, improvisation, protest and resonance.
To this end, the slogans on the banners from Jule Flierl's workshop on Monday can be taken up and activated.
Feel free to bring your own instruments and lyrics! No previous musical knowledge is necessary - listening, spontaneous joining in and experimenting together are also welcome.
The session will be hosted by Luca Diebold (HGB Leipzig). As a musician and artist, he works with participatory composition and experimental music formats.
Dialogical assembly
How can we create a social space together that enables personal articulation, free association and mutual interest, even in a political atmosphere characterised by fear and uncertainty? Anna Zett (collaboration and co-leading class for Performative Arts) works as an artist and group analyst in spe with rules for open dialogue and provides a conversation score for Listening Out Loud, which accompanies the jam session as a verbal interlude. Her fortnightly teaching programme "Public in Person: Assembly" opens up into a new form.
