The performance “As If a Tiny Hoof Turned Me Into a Goat” follows the logic of a folk fairy tale. It unfolds through a fragile tension between grief, anticipation, deep melancholy, childish naivety, absurdity, and the irreversibility of transformation.

During the performance, the poem “And Here We Are Again” will be read repeatedly. This continuous repetition will create an obsessive loop, gradually building tension and transforming the text into a kind of incantation, as if attempting to reverse time.

The idea is rooted in the figure of the poet Gor’usha, who passed away some time ago from an HIV-related illness. With his prior permission, his poetry continues to appear within the works of Andrei Dmitrenko.

What emerges is an impossible presence: a quiet witnessing of someone who has already become a memory.
