With the participatory performance Wenn das Summen sichtbar wird / When the hum becomes visible, artist Marta Pohlmann-Kryszkiewicz explores together with the performers how movements can influence the gaze through experience and how proximity and distance shift the usual spatial and physical boundaries. The impulses for action, which are conveyed via sound, deal with help, support and (in)security and were developed in collaboration with people with and without disabilities. The performance has been taking place in public places in and outside Leipzig since 2021 and is constantly evolving.
