„Am Gulli“
is a pop up space for contamporary art washing based in Leipzig.

The exhibition series is running from november '23 until febuary '24 in a two-week tonus on a tuesday.
Each exhibition features another artist or group.
Each exhibition will be at another place in Leipzig, always at a Gulli.
Each exhibition will happen at another time with a very! limited time span.

For the first edition I will exhibit.
As an intruduction for the series i call it „hi there“.

What does it has to do with contemporary art washing?
This phenomenon has been around in Leipzig for a while now.
I was wondering how it can be possible to organize an exhibition with the least possibility to get involved with art washing. This is why the location „Gulli“ and the public space.
The Gulli along with other ordinary things like lanterns or bost boxes are items of everyday life we don't really notice. So it is kind of arbitrary which place to choose. It is (just) a place outside of the established art world. So getting in touch with random passangers seems intriguing in contrast to the art bubble.
Not getting too comfortable the exhibitions will be shown for a very short time (minutes or hours).
Be there in time or miss it and come the next time. Something else is going to happen.
