Calendar

Traditionally, at the beginning of the academic year, the exhibition gathers works by master students who successfully passed their exams in the winter and summer semesters. Also this year's master student prize will be awarded. The prize for graduates of the HGB master student study program was donated by the G2 Kunsthalle. It is endowed with 10,000 € and a free studio space for 12 months. The award ceremony will take place during the opening of the exhibition on October 11 in the HGB Festsaal.

The study of master classes deepens and extends the artistic-practical and artistic-scientific skills and knowledge and serves to promote artistic development projects. The aim of the study is the acquisition of the title "Meisterschüler", the highest artistic title of the HGB. The study takes place in one of the master classes. The content and scope of the courses are determined in an individual study program by the supervising professor (Mentor * in). The standard period of study is four semesters.
