After "Rethinking Nature" and "Rethinking Identity", this tenth edition of the European Month of Photography (EMOP) in Luxembourg continues the cycle in 2025 under the all-encompassing title "Rethinking Photography". Based on the questions posed in the previous editions, this third chapter of the trilogy marks a new stage in the reflection on the medium, its meaning and its essence as photography.

Raisan Hameed is represented with his master student work Embers of Narratives. In it, the artist examines the traces of destruction left behind by violent conflicts in Iraq and in his home town of Mosul.
