Love Affair or the Tragedy of a PTT Employee is a Yugoslav black wave romantic drama film made in 1967 and directed by Dušan Makavejev. The film is full of metaphors and associations with the then communist society that only seemed healthy, which is why it was heavily criticized by the then authorities and is therefore classified as a Yugoslav black wave film. After its screening, the film achieved great popularity in Yugoslavia and the world, and was the subject of a large number of works and discussions. At the 14th Pula Film Festival, Dušan Makavejev received a special award for the research approach in the film.

A young postal worker, Izabela (Eva Ras), begins a love affair with a serious young man, Ahmed (Slobodan Aligrudić). However, during his official absence, the girl begins a love affair with an aggressive colleague from work (Miodrag Andrić). The girl becomes pregnant. Upon the young man's return from his official trip, a conflict arises between the two, which ends tragically…
