At the beginning of April, the LRK Board met with Ralf Ludwig, who has been Director General of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk since November 1, 2023. The MDR Broadcasting Council elected him in March 2023 for a six-year term of office. The exchange focused on the topics of science communication, science journalism and cooperation between MDR and the Saxon universities. The LRK board provided an overview of Saxony's diverse university landscape and the programs funded by the LRK and the universities.
