For more than 30 years, Dr. Dieter Daniels was a professor of art history and media theory at the Institute for Theory at the HGB Leipzig. The art historian, media theorist and exhibition curator specializing in media history and media art works on the relationship between art and music as well as the culture of monuments and remembrance.

To mark his departure from the HGB, Dieter Daniels is presenting collaborations from his time at the HGB in the showcase exhibition "It's not only a book", in particular publications on projects that are "more than a book": Online/book, book/exhibition, book/CD-ROM, book/conference, book/radio program, etc.
