During the week of the Leipzig Book Fair Elias Erkan was honoured twice for his book designs. He received the Walter Tiemann Prize 2024 for the design of the book "Ismael Ivo: I Believe in the Body", published by Johannes Odenthal. Shortly before, the book by Tom Holert "ca. 1972. Gewalt - Umwelt - Identität - Methode", which was also designed by Elias Erkan, won the Leipzig Book Fair Prize. Both publications are published by Spector Books.
Elias Erkan studied book design/graphic design at the HGB and completed his HGB diploma in 2021 in the typography class.
