The Evening Academy course programme for the 2026 summer semester is online.
Every participant can apply for one or more courses per week. Applications should be sent by email to aak@hgb-leipzig.de using the completed application form. Each course requires a separate application with course details, a separate cover letter and, if applicable, a separate portfolio. If the courses are oversubscribed, the course leaders will decide on participation based on the documents submitted.

The Evening Academy of the HGB offers courses in fine arts, applied and artistic photography and design every semester. The programme is aimed at anyone aged 16 and over who is interested in painting, drawing, photography, filming, multimedia, research-based and performative work, illustration, typeface design or commercial graphics. There is no upper age limit, so that the groups benefit from the experience and knowledge of everyone. Master students from the university are on hand to support the participants as professional course leaders.
