In a society situated in a state of sensory overload, constant abundance with increased attention, in a rush between power and exhaustion, oscillating between states of presence and fatigue, we are addressed, all of us, all the time.
A promise - a declaration or assurance that one will get or do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen - stays in its unfulfilled state and creates a lack, which could also be seen positively.As Kant already stated – darkness is the absence of light – the absence of a quality that is basically experienceable. In other words, we could look out for a placeholder which can be described for now as a void. The attempt of understanding the void could be seen as acceptance of a blank space. An Imprint of void could be an attempt to approach this gap and leaves us with numerous options.
