On April 5, 2024, the double exhibition of the state scholarship holders of the Free State of Thuringia will open its doors at the Kunstforum Hannah Höch Gotha. Sebastian Pütz and Thomas Taube will be presenting the results of their work from the one-year scholarship awarded by the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Thuringia together with SV SparkassenVersicherung.

The double exhibition in Gotha is curated by Bianka Voigt and Konstantin Bayer. In addition to the catalog presentation on 25 April at 5 p.m., an accompanying program with guided tours and an artist talk will be offered.

Sebastian Pütz (*1975 in Erfurt) works at the interface between the techniques and materials of analog and digital photography. He studied from 2002 at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig under Timm Rautert and Christopher Muller and graduated in 2010 with a diploma in Fine Arts. His most recent publication was the catalog for the 2018/19 exhibition "Vor einem Bild" exhibition at the Kunsthalle Erfurt.

Thomas Taube (*1984 in Munich) is a video artist and director. He studied at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst and graduated in 2017 as a master student of Clemens von Wedemeyer. His work has already been shown at numerous festivals and has won several awards.
Among others, he received the Marion Ermer Prize in 2016.
