Bea Meyerand Katharina Immekus are artists who have been engaged in a close dialogue – both with each other and with their circle of friends – for several years. They attach great importance to creating structures and formats that enable a serious and independent engagement with art. In doing so, they develop their own projects, explore artistic self-organisation and share their experiences. Both were founding members of the artist-run gallery b2_ in the Baumwollspinnerei, which emerged from the B/2 art space.

Anna Lena von Helldorff pursues an interdisciplinary creative practice centred on collaborative processes and long-term connections with artists, authors and other social actors. Her long-standing friendship with Katharina Immekus and Bea Meyer has led to numerous joint projects, including the design of the visual identity for the b2_ gallery.

The discussion will focus on the importance of personal relationships, affinities, trust and solidarity within the art scene and beyond. Moderated by Olga Vostretsova.
