Performative assembly as part of the artistic-discursive theme evening Futures East #2

For the artist and author Anna Zett, the future of the East is created in assemblies in which the perception of current interaction is more real than one's own identity. In a format of group dialogue structured by simple rules and based on the interview form, she invites not only her guests but all those present to allow the other person to use their own voice and to encounter other people's feelings with curiosity. As a child of the autodidactic generation that learnt to feel in the GDR (opposition) but to think in Euro-American capitalism, Anna Zett is now active in teaching herself and brings together three performative impulses from 21st century art students with a psychoanalyst with GDR experience in the salon to enable the transgenerational transfer of knowledge in unusual ways.
