Exhibition Leipzig Art Workshops 2023: Insights into the HGB for young art enthusiasts
Venue:HGB ceremony hall Wächterstraße 11 04107 Leipzig For the eighth time, the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) in cooperation with the Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Kinder und Jugendbildung (LKJ) Sachsen e.V. (Saxony Association for Cultural Education for Children and Young People) is offering an art workshop for young people between 16 and 21 years.
From November 2 to 5, the participants will get to know with help by Meisterschüler*innen of the HGB the studios and workshops of the degrees Painting/Printmaking, Book-Design/Graphic-Design, Photography and Media Art. They will acquire artistic and technical skills and abilities and experience freedom in their artistic work. The program also includes visits to exhibitions and cultural explorations of the city of Leipzig.
A final presentation of the resulting works will take place on Sunday, the 5 November from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the festival hall of the HGB - interested guests are welcome!
