Oliver Bleckmann and Arvid Jansen, are currently organizing the third edition of the Presskuchen Tour, which this year will take place in Leipzig, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Amsterdam.
For this series, we are developing a format that is defined by the visibility, location, and size of each exhibition site. In doing so, we deliberately take up the established conventions of selected exhibition spaces and amplify them in specific ways.
We want to highlight the back-and-forth travelling as an artist and underscore it as a central element of practice. This approach has already guided the previous two tour stops, and we aim to revisit it in 2026 in an adapted form.
As a metaphor, we use the imagery of the traveling circus and the stage to communicate the spirit of wandering and showcasing.
