As part of the festival "Danger zones - racism (in)secures"

Racial profiling, the establishment of gun ban zones in migrant neighbourhoods, the "politics of a thousand pinpricks", observation and suspicion debates and border regime policies - Black people and People of Colour are repeatedly constructed as a threat that needs to be warded off and are themselves threatened precisely by this. In their lectures "Racialisation of Violence", "Securitisation of Society" and "Class Justice and Racial Justice", Jin Haritaworn, María do Mar Castro Varela and Daniel Loick critically explore these processes. There will be time for joint exchange over food and drinks.
