Matthias Hoch's photographs were taken between 2009 and 2011, directly after the eviction and before the renovation of the building. In the Tower's abandoned state, Hoch conducts a research of the empty space, looking for the legacies of the liquidated Dresdner Bank: an empty safe, leather armchairs shortly before removal, prints on the carpet, non-functioning cables, the bank's logo on a window pane. Silver Tower is about the process of disappearance and provides insights into a closed system that has expired.

Accompanying the exhibition, a new publication with an essay by Niklas Maak will be published by Spector Books, Leipzig.
