With an Open Call "50/50", artists were invited to submit works based on Barbara Kruger's quote "When I hear the word 'culture' I take out my checkbook". Positions and practices were important that work at the interface of visual art and literature, explore or dissolve these boundaries, critically engage with the art and culture industry and, above all, negotiate what this means for the artists.
