An exhibition in the cinema displays of the Babylon, Kino Central, Kino International and the
Hackesche Höfe in Mitte.

"Day for Night" is a film technique in which night scenes are shot in daylight and simulated with filters. Under this title, the 22 invited artists will display a total of 44 posters in the cinema showcases.
The artists are united by an interest in image-making - mental and real - in relation to film.
Some work directly in moving image (Andreas Bunte, Laura Horelli, Annika Eriksson, Wendelien van
Oldenborgh, Sharon Lockhart), while others use performative approaches supported by text and masks (Prince Gholam).

The public is to be made aware of art and film through exclusive artistic posters, as film and art are understood as relevant to the system. The exhibition is intended to contribute
to move them further into the focus of public interest.

The exhibition was conceived by the Berlin artists Susanne Bürner and Dominique Hurth.
