RAP – For many, it's a reality of life and everyday practice. Some sit down, write lyrics and work on their rhymes. Others mumble melodic passages in which single words can no longer be understood. The music produced could not be more different. However, one thing is clear: the artistic practice of rappers is not limited to rapping alone.

In “You Wanna Rap?” we offer space for approaches from a variety of perspectives. The exhibition space will be the starting point for a wide range of activities. We discover, reflect and discuss while visiting the exhibition, in curatorial tours, at a transdisciplinary panel, at a Rap Bingo! Evening with a feminist focus, a freestyle session, at Rap-Your-Shopping-List workshops, a beginner-friendly karaoke evening, a Bring-Your-Own-Vinyl listening session and at concerts and performances.
