Unfortunately, due to the measures taken to contain the corona pandemic, the HGB remains closed to visitors. The open house day of the HGB 2021 will therefore take place digitally. The central virtual location is the HGB website. Here, the lecturers, students and employees welcome prospective students and applicants in virtual rooms between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Our moderators are available throughout the day for information about the program, the right contact persons and general questions in the live chat.
The day begins with a welcome video by Rector Thomas Locher. Afterwards, teachers will present the four diploma courses in painting/ printmaking, photography, book design / graphic design, media art.
The Office for Student Affairs is available by telephone between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for information on the application process and general questions about the study program:

In the artistic live program from 2 p.m., HGB students provide insights into their creative work and are available to answer questions about everyday student life or the application process.
