the rhetorical space - Come in!

[ A continuation with Anke Dyes will be shown under the title Open Codes in Phases X and XII in the Maximiliansforum. In a joint process and by means of an examination of Marta Minujín's MINUCODE on the one hand and the Maxforum as a public space on the other, an artistic research on being and having an audience is to be created.
Various research methods (questioning, observation, recording, social experiment) will be trialled and entered into the space. ]
The MaximliansForum is a space in public space as public space: in the centre of Munich, open around the clock, as a location, passage, pedestrian subway and art space.
In a joint process with different actors and approaches, the project if, then, else tests the functions and contexts of architectural, social and representative public space and designs form(at)ulations between "being public" and entering into an exchange with the public.
if, then, else: if <condition> then <action> otherwise <...>. if, then, else defines a repertoire of methods and phases: recording, drafting and scripting, setting, inviting, editing, publishing and reviewing. As a workshop, installation, display, shop window, meeting place, editorial office and field of research, the space itself appears as a starting point: for observing and being observed, as a temporary space for thinking, working and projection. The conditions as space and place are questioned, shown, form(at)ed and regularly published in connection with and in a public sphere: online and in situ. The dialogue begins from here - by observing, taking note and asking questions: on site, in the site, in public, to a public. What do you see, what do you think about it and what do you do with it?
