The Leipzig artist Michael Triegel, born in Erfurt in 1968, is regarded as one of the most interesting representatives of the "Leipzig School" and as one of the contemporary artists who deal intensively with ancient and religious traditions and presently stage and interpret them in a new way. In doing so, he leads viewers to the border between this world and that which opens up beyond it - and to where things reveal the unconditional.
