K.H. responds to the surreal atmosphere of the Ball Theater on the grounds of the Technesphere by performatively creating a fantasy world in which time, emotions and events are frozen and decomposed, fragmented and reconstructed. The evening shows a scenic experiment, which is started by an undefined character with the presentation of a to-do list of tasks, which then unfold in a series of fragmented events, choreographed actions, merging movements, text and sound. For K.H., the events take place in what K.H. calls a "wet and ambiguous environment".

K.H. works with performance and has a background in experimental theater. K.H. is currently studying media art at the HGB in Isabel Lewis' class for performative arts. K.H. works with the boundaries between movement, text, performance and various other media. In K.H.'s artistic practice, the exploration of fictional characters and physical experiments are starting points for the development of fragments of different universes with their own rules, temporalities and narratives.

Juli Winterstein: versus II

The installation versus II forms the second part of a research on corporeality, sign systems and externalization in the field of sculpture and uses the Ball Theater as an exhibition space. The practice of exhibiting is viewed from a performative angle, and the making, showing and making movable of sculptures as a dramaturgical process of conditioning for the reading gaze, which extends across the time axes of production, presentation and reception and interactively permeates them. At the end of the festival, the installation serves as a deactivation of the Ball Theater.

Juli Winterstein studies in Isabel Lewis' class for performative arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig and works object-based. He has a background in theater in the areas of stage design and performance and works as a model maker alongside his studies.
