The "Merck Prize of the Darmstadt Days of Photography" traditionally follows the theme of the festival of the "12th Darmstadt Days of Photography" (DTdF). This year it is "Tilt Shift - Experiment as Normal State". In December 2022, a jury selected 13 artistic positions from a total of 250 international submissions, which are now nominated for the "9th Merck Prize of the Darmstadt Days of Photography".
