curated by: Christian Kölbl & Pia vom Ende Venue:Projektraum Schonwälder Straße 44 13585 Berlin Partner: Berliner Projektfonds kulturelle Bildung In the exhibition series Castle for Rent, art is transformed into a piece of interior of comfortably furnished luxury real estate, which can be viewed via VR technology. An off-screen voice incessantly and soothingly explains how perfect everything is here, occasionally degenerating into fits of laughter.
In addition to curating the exhibition, Christian Kölbl has developed a display design that, as an abstracted real estate office, offers VR technology to walk through the individual apartments by hand gestures dressed in suits. This is constantly changing throughout the three exhibitions.
