The title "HALF DISTANCE" comes from the terminology of the sport of boxing and describes a state that combines both immediate proximity and unreachable distance, thus allowing a fluctuation between these extremes. In the context of this series of works, Henning Schuldt studied the behaviors, fears, and longings of those who practice the sport of boxing.
