The exhibition platform Mehrzahl opens the exhibition GAME CHANGER on September 17th 2021:
Is there new art? - What can new art consist of in relation to the working method and the end product of an artistic work? The exhibition "GAME CHANGER" presents 28 artistic positions by students and graduates of the HGB that approach this initial question or or challenge the existence of the new. May it be by copying, referencing or contesting known concepts and stylistic elements of different art epochs or selected artists. Other positions follow an intuitive way of working and let themselves be inspired by inner or outer conditions or circumstances in order to come across possible new ideas.
After being postponed twice due to Corona, the exhibition now opens on Sept. 17, 2021.
