The public event series of Prof. Christin Lahr and Stefan Riebel addresses in different formats the self-understanding and the naturalness of art and artistic action, capitalistic appropriation, exploitation and exploitation methods of artistic work, alternative artistic survival strategies, forms of protest and utopias, as well as the invaluable value of artistic freedom. The aesthetic skills and perceptive abilities of artists play a role as well as the sustainable interference of art in science, economy, politics, society and everyday life.

The art collector Dr. Stefan Haupt, a lawyer for media, copyright, trademark and publishing law from Berlin, originally dealt solely with the legal concerns of art production. With the purchase of the work "Money for Art" by the Taiwanese artist Lee Mingwei in 1997 he laid the foundation stone for the collection "Thirty Silverig - Art and Money". In addition to unique items, objects, ready-mades, photographs or collages using real money, there is a wide range of artists' money in the form of printmaking and painting. The works of art of the Sammlung Haupt, which today comprise more than 300 objects, address different, individual and social valuations of money as well as the livelihood of the Western capitalist world. Political and historical events such as German reunification, monetary unions or economic crises are reflected in it as well as cultural differences or the role of the individual in a society.

In his lecture Dr. Stefan Haupt addresses issues of artistic value creation between value and utilization as well as the ambivalence between copyright and freedom of art.
