idealartspace.deIn three episodes at IDEAL and in urban space, the exhibition project The Stories We Inhabit takes a look at forms of self-organization in public space. The project illuminates motifs of resistant recoding and informal continuations of urban infrastructure, examines porous, provisional dramaturgies and follows trails in urban space. The starting point of the project is the necessary relocation of the self-organized sculpture park Neustadt on a wasteland in the neighbourhood of the IDEAL due to urban construction projects. An exhibition architecture was created in the garden of the IDEAL to store the objects. In this setting, a growing network of artistic interventions is formed, which continuously create new references and overwritings. The three episodes will focus on different themes. The project will be on display at IDEAL until October.
