Wilhelm Klotzeck, Andreas Rost (Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee) and Tina Bara, Sandra Schubert (HGB Leipzig) developed a teaching format for their students in summer 2023 that aims to promote exchange and collaboration between the various disciplines (sculpture and photography) and the different schools in Berlin and Leipzig.
In this context, there were work presentations, discussions, a joint meal and smaller meetings between the participants in both Berlin and Leipzig in the students' classrooms.
The idea was to produce new works or to revise and adapt existing works and to enter into a dialog between the different media in a new context, which was to be explored together in the course of the process. Watching - listening - reacting.
The resulting "whirling up" became the title of the project. Accompanying keywords: body - archive - strike.
