Professors at the HGB have been supporting the work of the Freundeskreis for years by producing limited edition artworks, the proceeds of which go towards the Freundeskreis's project funding and benefit the students. The 2025 edition is by Christian Weihrauch, Professor of Painting, Drawing and Composition since 2015. The copperplate engraving "das Studium oder ein armer Poet" is available in a limited edition of 30 copies (enquiries by email: sroth@hgb-leipzig.de).
