The Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of the Hans Meid Foundation are delighted to be able to honour two very different illustrators, Petra Schuppenhauer and Jakob Hinrichs, and thus demonstrate the range of current illustration art with two extraordinary illustrative achievements.

The Hans Meid Foundation pursues two goals:
to research and communicate the art of its namesake and to promote contemporary illustration.
It organises exhibitions, enables publications and awards prizes in various categories.
