The Start-Up-week is the compact seminar of the Support-Büro on all aspects of money and paperwork: What does it mean to be freelance and self-employed?
What comes after graduation? Within this week you can acquire the basic knowledge that will enable you to build up an independent existence. This applies to both freelance and applied forms of art and design. We will talk about everyday life as a self-employed person, all the terms and authorities you need to know, how it actually works with taxes and insurances and a solid project and cost planning.
That's why there will also be an event and consultations on how to apply for art projects and grants. In addition, we will have time for your individual questions and projects.
The events are planned in presence and will take place in room 3.05.
Online participation is possible in exceptional cases. The courses are held in German but of course we’ll support you if you struggle with the language.
