The space breathes in and out through its gill.
It often breathes even with its epidermis.
It stands with its spine and shows off its tailbone.

In urban geographical structures, humans assign certain domains and areas to specific activities and functions. Areas of rest and play (parks, playgrounds, etc.) try to create a space and a body of „Nature“. New materials and architectures are continuously getting produced to imitate nature, as well as anatomical bodies.
With the help of these artificial materials, both are being transformed to extensions of the „Natural“.
In The Piece Of Sculpt You Left In The Playground the artist Kay Yoon is taking a closer look at those transformations. The spaces and bodies of „Nature“ and „Humans“ are encoded in a new way and are being pushed together. They undergo different material and ideational metamorphoses to eventually assemble a new subject.
