David Claerbout is a Belgian artist who works with photographs, film, video, sound, digital media and drawings. He became known for his large-format video installations and film projections. In the artist talk he introduces his work and talks about 'dark optics', digital worlds and their influence on society, its art and history. Invited and moderated by Prof. Heidi Specker and Prof. Clemens von Wedemeyer there will be a talk with the audience.
