Supporting students at the Academy of Fine Arts together! Young talents are supported within the framework of the Deutschlandstipendium.
Thanks to the support of companies, foundations and private individuals who, together with the federal government, make this scholarship possible, HGB students not only receive financial security, but also recognition of their artistic skills and commitment.
The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented and committed students at state and state-recognised universities in Germany. In addition to artistic work, social commitment and special personal achievements - such as successfully overcoming hurdles in one's own educational biography - are also taken into account when awarding the Deutschlandstipendium.

The Deutschlandstipendium amounts to 300 euros per month. 150 of this is provided by private sponsors such as companies, foundations, alumni and other private individuals. The other 150 euros are paid by the federal government. The Deutschlandstipendium is paid directly to the scholarship holders by the universities. The funding is awarded irrespective of income and can also be received in addition to BAföG. If sponsors donate more than 150 euros per month for a scholarship, the respective scholarship holder receives the additional amount on top of the regular sum of 300 euros.

There are many reasons why thousands of private sponsors have been committed to the Deutschlandstipendium for ten years: They can get to know young talents at an early stage, give them freedom and give something back from their own success. Companies, foundations, private individuals: They all see the funding as a sustainable investment in the future and receive fresh impetus from outside in return. With commitment and passion, university management and programme managers make their daily contribution to the success of this special network.
