Scholarships for internships abroad
Are you drawn to the wide world?
Would you like to gain practical experience for your future career? With the Erasmus+ mobility program, you can realize both wishes at the same time with an internship in one of 33 European countries or in overseas territories: Test yourself by taking a detour into the world of work and gain intercultural experience at the same time. For financial support, you can apply for partial scholarships for study-related internships at the LEONARDO OFFICE SACHSEN. The country-dependent Erasmus grant is currently between 640 and 750 euros per month and is granted for a minimum duration of two months. We also support the contractual coordination with your internship institution. Applications are accepted throughout the year, even at very short notice if necessary.
IMPORTANT for all those who are about to finish their studies!
Unlike most scholarships, you can still be funded if the internship ends within a year of exmatriculation. The application must then be submitted during the last semester of study at the latest. It is also possible to combine the internship with writing your final thesis (diploma thesis, bachelor thesis, etc.). In this way, you can receive funding if the work tasks correspond to an internship and the thesis is not predominantly written during working hours.
Special funding possible!
If you
- are taking your child abroad or
- have parents who both do not have an academic degree, or
- have earned between 450 and 850 EUR in a job accompanying your studies in the 6 months prior to your stay abroad, or
- have a GdB of over 20 or a chronic illness,
then your scholarship is additionally increased by 250 EUR/month.
Just an internship is not enough for you?
In principle, you can receive Erasmus funding for a stay abroad several times during and after your studies.
