The Lithography Workshop offers a wide range of courses covering basic techniques and methods for experimental exploration in lithography. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, the workshop is open to all students and their individual projects, provided they have completed a basic course or can demonstrate the relevant technical skills. Foundational courses are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Teaching is primarily conducted in German. The aim of the workshop courses is to enable students to work as independently as possible.

Excused absences will be made up with individual catch-up days in consultation with the course leaders. During the term, there will be four blocks of foundation courses, each taking place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Course objective and certification
The course objective is to enable students to produce original printing blocks using lithographic techniques independently, to understand printing processes and to carry them out without supervision. Regular attendance on the course and the ability to print independently are prerequisites for certification.
