The performance is led by Isabel Lewis & Lissy Willberg as part of the exhibition "The Word for Museum is Forest", curated by Eleni Michaelidi.
We find ourselves in a continuous movement and reformation. It is an inevitable change, change that is there in the very fabric of time and in an attempt to trace the change that is yet to come, we try to step over the edge of one-dimensionality. TIME SMUGGLER is an invitation to drift in the multi-layers of space experiencing it with a different sensation of weight, joy, and purpose. Our collective body practice work with the human body as the sole building material, exploring multiple possibilities and ways of performing in a space. Our practice aims at circumscribing our understanding of the production and aesthetics of Performance, while expanding it to the further borders of the Imagination. We approach space through a new framework that regards the space between bodies (both human and non-human) as a site for transformation. Following paths and ladders that emerge and disappear between waking and dreaming between thing and transition.
