Die Ausstellung zeigt Kunstwerke, die gemeinsam haben, dass sie verschenkt werden.

Eine Gabe ist eine Geste des Gebens und Nehmens, ein Austausch von Werten und ein spiritueller Akt. So wie wir Kunstwerke loben, spenden wir im digitalen Raum likes. Wir tun es, um Gutes für Andere zu tun und investieren damit in uns selbst.

Was bleibt ist bedingungsloses Schenken, dass ähnlich wie das Kunstmachen selbst, einer nicht weiter begründbaren inneren Notwendigkeit folgt…

Die Ausstellung basiert auf dem Rundgangsprojekt “The present agreement” (HGB Rundgang 2018), bei der die Studierenden der Klasse ebenfalls eine Ausstellung zum Thema “Schenken ” gezeigt haben.

The exhibition shows works of art that have in common that they are given as gifts.

A gift is a gesture of giving and receiving, an exchange of values and can be a spiritual act. Just as we praise works of art, we donate likes in the digital space. We do it to do good for others and thus invest in ourselves.

What remains are the moments of unconditional giving, similar to how making art follows an inner necessity that cannot be further justified…

The exhibition is based on the project “The present agreement” (HGB Rundgang 2018), in which the students of the class also showed an exhibition on the subject of “Giving”.
